Hairalyze provides AI-generated cosmetic haircare insights based on photos that you voluntarily upload. The Service is designed for informational and grooming purposes only and is not a medical or diagnostic tool.

3. Age Requirements

The Service is intended for users aged 13 or older. In regions where the digital age of consent is higher (such as parts of the European Union), users must meet the applicable minimum age or use the Service only with parental or guardian consent.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the applicable minimum age. If you believe a child has provided data to us, contact hairalyze@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Hairalyze does not use facial recognition or collect biometric identifiers for identity verification purposes.

  • Operate, improve, and troubleshoot the Service
  • Measure app performance, installs, and marketing effectiveness

We do not sell your photos or personal data.

We do not use your photos to train our own AI models.

We do not use uploaded photos or related scan details for advertising.

6. AI Processing and Third-Party Providers

Hairalyze may use third-party AI services, including OpenAI, to process uploaded hair photos and related scan details in order to generate AI-powered hair insights.

To generate analysis results, uploaded images are securely stored on infrastructure providers such as Supabase and may be temporarily accessed by trusted AI processing providers using secure, time-limited access methods.

This data is used to provide the app’s analysis features and is not used by Hairalyze for advertising. Hairalyze uses reasonable security measures to protect user data during transmission and processing.

These providers process data solely to deliver requested functionality and are not authorized by Hairalyze to use your data for unrelated purposes.

7. Analytics and Attribution

We use analytics and attribution tools (such as AppsFlyer) to understand how users discover and interact with the Service. These tools may collect device identifiers, install data, and usage information in accordance with platform permissions and applicable laws.

8. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure using authentication controls, encryption, and access restrictions. While we implement reasonable safeguards, no system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. When you delete scans or request account deletion, data is permanently removed within a reasonable timeframe, except where limited retention is required for security or legal compliance.
